About
Château le Coteau is a family-owned estate in the Margaux region, which is known for producing some of the world's best wines. Eric Léglise has carried on his forefathers' heritage by producing exceptional wines with passion and humility. Other renowned chateaux nearby are Château Rauzan-Ségla, Château Giscours, and Château du Tertre.
Eric Léglise has always prioritised environmental sustainability and has never used pesticides on his vines, preferring instead to use traditional methods such as ploughing. The end result is a collection of wines that reflect Margaux's distinct terroir and provide a genuinely remarkable tasting experience.
Tasting Notes
Château Le Coteau has a beautiful bouquet, very expressive, with red ripe fruits, blackcurrant, blackberries, some very fine spicy notes, and torrefied coffee beans. On the palate the wine has an enchanting, silky structure, very harmonious and dense. The finish is long, and balanced with great acidity and freshness. Drink now or cellar up until 2026+. - Importer Note
