About
Anne Gros is a woman on a mission. She's all about respecting the land, the vines, and the grapes. That's why she's gone full-on biodynamic and organic in her vineyards and she's not just doing it to jump on some trendy bandwagon. Anne believes this philosophy of cultivation is vital for the preservation of the terroir's biodiversity. That's right, she's all about preserving the land so that it can continue to produce those delicious grapes year after year.
Anne is a proactive person. She refuses to be labelled or categorised. She's not going to give her domain a fancy title simply because she's doing things a bit differently. Anne does things her way, and that's perfectly OK.
She's all about deliberate treatment. That means she's not just spraying stuff willy-nilly. She's carefully assessing what her precious vines need and giving it to them in a targeted and precise manner. She's not just relying on chemicals either; Anne is out there ploughing the soil and using compost. It's integrated viticulture.
So the next time you're sipping on a glass of Domaine Anne Gros, you can rest assured that you're not just enjoying a delicious beverage. You're supporting a woman who's doing her part to preserve the land and make the world a better place, one grape at a time.
Tasting Notes
A slightly riper if otherwise similar nose precedes denser and surprisingly powerful flavours that offer better depth on the nicely dry and lingering if mildly rustic finale. Even so, this is worth a look.

Drink: 2023+
The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc comes from two parcels, mainly young vines around six years-old. It offers more tropical scents on the nose, touches of wild peach and a hints of nectarine. The palate has a pleasant roundness in the mouth, fine acidity, already quite generous to the point where you could drink this now. Delicious.

Drink: 2022 - 2027
Another fine clear fresh colour. A juicier style of fruit, even though young vines. Lemon with some orange blossom too, a little fresh apple, the usual zest of the vintage, and good length.
