About
Great value can still be found in Burgundy! Saumaize-Michelin is a 9.5 ha estate located in Vergisson. They switched to Biodynamics back in 2005 and place great importance in the maintenance of the vineyard’s bacterial life and the management of flora and micro flora diversity. The estate sits upon a diverse mosaic of soil and rocks which winemaker Roger Saumaize expresses through the different bottlings. - Importer Note
Tasting Notes
This too is ripe and vaguely exotic with its array of apple, pear and citrus confit scents. There is a bit more volume to the equally rich, delicious and dense medium weight flavors that offer just a bit more depth on the balanced, clean and equally dry finale.
