About
Grown, not made. The Millton Vineyard specialises in growing fine wine from estate grown grapes sourced from their own single vineyards. In 1986 they were the first New Zealand winegrowers to attain the Bio-Gro organic certification and after 28 years of biodynamic practice they were again one of the first to qualify for the Demeter Certification NZ, in 2009. The Millton Vineyard has gained a world-renowned reputation for Chenin Blanc, consistently recognised by international writers as one the best examples in the world, outside of the Loire. - Importer Note
Tasting Notes
A bright fruited, expressive nose, with notes of dark cherry, juniper berry and an intriguing hint of fennel and manuka flower. There is a savoury taste with firm tannins and ripe fruit finishing with a lively mineral edge to balance. Unfined. Unfiltered. Enjoy, with friends, lamb and other fine grilled pieces.
Cellaring potential is five years from release.
Alc 12.5%
