About
Great value can still be found in Burgundy! Saumaize-Michelin is a 9.5 ha estate located in Vergisson. They switched to Biodynamics back in 2005 and place great importance in the maintenance of the vineyard’s bacterial life and the management of flora and micro flora diversity. The estate sits upon a diverse mosaic of soil and rocks which winemaker Roger Saumaize expresses through the different bottlings. - Importer Note
Tasting Notes
This is also aromatically pure, cool and airy with a more citrus-infused nose. Here too there is excellent volume and intensity to the medium-bodied flavors that flash almost as much minerality on the bone-dry, youthfully austere and borderline aggressively lemony finish. This may be too much for some.
