Overview
Bellebonne was started in 2015, with the first release coming in 2017. Natalie Fryar left her corporate winemaking job as chief winemaker of a sparkling brand to start her own company focused on the brilliance of Pipers River in northern Tasmania’s traditional method sparkling wine. The wines are like their maker – elegant, powerful, intellectual, bubbly and fun.
Cork Tasting Notes
On the nose, expect delicate aromas of green apple, citrus, and white flowers, accompanied by subtle brioche notes from extended lees ageing. On the palate, it delivers crisp acidity, vibrant citrus flavours, and a creamy texture, with a long, refreshing finish. The fine mousse adds a touch of luxury, making it a perfect choice for celebrations or pairing with seafood and light appetisers.
Ideal to enjoy now, but with the potential to age gracefully for another 3-5 years.

This is 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. 5-6g residual sugar and full malo.
The colour is golden. A wine that balances just-ripe tropical fruit with mouthwatering salty, briny quality. It has scents of pastry, flint, crushed oyster shells and creamed honey. Powerful acidity and ripeness, preserved lemons, sour apples. I do like the savoury-sour character of it, a bit of warming pickled ginger and gingerbread to the end of things. Characterful.
