Champagne André Robert is situated in Le Mesnil sur Oger with 85% of its parcels within Grand Cru or Premier Cru appellations. Being a récolant manipulateur (grower) means that only grapes grown on this estate are processed, no bought in grapes. This gives this Champagne house appeal and rarity, all bottlings from the entry level to the Grand Cru are pure class with resemblance right through the range.
What struck us upon tasting was the purity, freshness and minerality of each wine highlighting the chalky soil upon which, vines are planted. The mousse while being creamy, enables the bubbles to pop and share the aromatic complexity of the wine. - Importer Note
